Forced In

Adventures in Modern Living

NAP-P

In Praise of Tea

My Queendom for a
cuppa
Pomegranate white or
Honey ginger
spice sweet
bringing my world into focus
gently

Waiting

to learn that something
will come
when it is ready to
without forcing
be still:
actively practice the work of
waiting

Cost

price is no longer
value
relative to the worth
of an item
but the
maximum people can be made
to pay

Patience

pregnancy will teach
one how
to wait for something yet
unseen unknown
to come
in its own time unmindful of
willing

Dying

the scent and breath of
dying
is hot, dessicated
a stench to turn
stomachs
and minds towards G_d and endings
of time
