The Trial

I can’t watch the trial of the murderous police officer, but I have caught snippets from other commentators and have seen short scenes from the video exhibits. Two things I’ve noticed:

There is a line of fluid that runs underneath Mr. Floyd’s truck, approaching the curb. I don’t believe anyone was drinking a beverage. At that point, I think Mr. Floyd voided. At that point, he died.

Isn’t the cost of doing business accepting some losses from the inadvertent acceptance of counterfeit bills? How do you take that money out of your employee’s pay? How do you send an 18 year old employee outside to deal with an individual suspected of passing a counterfeit bill?

That’s all, Beloved. I can’t say any more just now.

Notes to Myself

There are websites dedicated to hating women. Incels, involuntary celibates, think women should be punished for not giving up sex on deman. Seems time to read Of Men and Women: How to Be for Each Other by Pearl S. Buck.

The Rohingya in Bangladesh are being moved to a remote island that only emerger from the sea within the decade and is prone to flooding and cyclonic upheaval. Why is this allowed to happen? Bangladesh is sinking, losing land mass rapidly. Is this a reason to abuse people who have fled persecution and death and isolate them out to sea?

277,000 dead and the lame duck is concerned only with his ego. He did say he didn’t like losers, so I guess that means he really doesn’t like himself. Such a despicable individual, supported by people looking for a savior. I hate to think all of them are as despicable as he is; they are misled. There must be a way to reach them, to pull them away from the fringe. So many of us are lost.

Lies. Why do people want to believe lies?

Is California the most corrupt state in the union? I do wonder.

Who is looking out for consumers? Who is looking out for the rank and file of us? I never expected to see a worse version of the Great Depression. At least, at some point, there was a concerted government response. America is supposed to be the richest nation in the world, but money doesn’t translate into empathy, compassion, or care.

Why are we so up in arms about socialism when we outsourced all our good paying jobs to a communist country? Communism was the threat when I was younger, so imagine my surprise when I graduated from college to discover we were in debt to communist China. My country lists towards fascism now and no one seems up in arms about that.

Reading Pearl S. Buck I found a kindred spirit who believed American men did not like women. I have often expressed this notion and been thought mad. The basis of my thought is based in observations of reality and history of the relations between the sexes. We no longer value history, reality, or truth.

The American people have been abandoned by the government that is supposed to represent us. Trillions of dollars for corporations and donors, nothing for first line workers, general workers, any workers. We are being exploited while elected representatives go on living their lives as if our unemployment, sickness, and death is our fault. Suicides are surging along with infection rates. Doctors and nurses are in that number along with the working classes. We are all working classes if we cannot count ourselves among the donor class.

We truly are a failed state.

Farmers protest in India and Peru. The largest general strike in the world is happening in India. 250 million strong. Young people are losing the lives in Peru protesting for relief. We have protested here, but has anything changed? Is anything changing? The incoming administration will change nothing. More of the same only cloaked in incessant grinning and “decency”.

We are living through a pandemic that many people believe is a hoax. Millions are in danger of losing their homes. Millions are in danger of having insufficient food. Millions of young people face no future. Hundreds of thousands are dead, dying, ill, and suffering from sequelae of COVID.

Homelessness is spreading. Poverty is spreading. Hunger is spreading. Not even bread or circuses.

What I’m Seeing

Don’t go for a run in Georgia. Don’t try to enforce masking rules and laws. Don’t respect your neighbor’s legitimate fear of infection and go right ahead and wipe your nose on them or spit on them. This is what I’m seeing.

Sick people are processing the meat some people desperately want. We have no decent information about this virus, which seems to have mutated and become more virulent while it has the ability to hide in plain sight in asymptomatic people. If the virus could jump from meat to humans just through exposure, not consumption, might it have the ability to jump from asymptomatic meat handlers into the meat? The virus does not like warm, moist environments. Could it possibly like cold, raw meat? I don’t know about you, but I’m going meatless unless I know for certain where the meat was processed. I loved Peculiar, Missouri. There were meat processors in the rurals who hunted, slaughtered, and dressed all the meats they sold. They catered to the exotic selling squirrel, opossum, and chitterlings! Of course, I didn’t eat these meats, but it was interesting to know there were some people who still possessed the skills to get their own meat independent of the corporate processors.

I want to see the sick people get care. I want to see them get food and shelter for themselves and their families. I want to see corporations place people before profits.

I believe I’m gonna go blind.

SHUNNING in the Name of Public Health

It is my fervent belief that the Hate Yam needs shunned. He should not be heard. He should not be seen. He should be paid no attention because he is an incompetent.

The Hate Yam needs shunned. He lies. He lies. He lies. He lies. He lies. He lies. He lies.

The Hate Yam needs shunned. He is endangering all our lives. He is profiteering on our collective catastrophe.

The Hate Yam has no medical knowledge. Neither does that eyed potato that is his second and leading a task force on COVID19. He is the worst representative of the elites, but elite he is. Why is the Hate Yam not funding the acquisition and distribution of necessary medical supplies out of his boundless wealth? Why is he not temporarily nationalizing whatever industry we have left to generate the ventilators and other medical supplies we desperately need?

The Hate Yam should have been 25thed a while ago. He should never have gotten into office. He should be shunned and we need to let the PIC (people in charge) know that we are shunning him because we have no confidence in his sanity, his word, because of his failure to act for the benefit of the public health of the American people.

Causes of Black Excess Death

A friend sent me a video in Messenger that detailed many of the ways you can end up dead in America if you happen to have been born Black. It stung me. It is the 21st C. and we are still with this white supremacist bullshit.

The video made me think about Emmett, that and an article I read by Dr. GS Potter, who seems to be a phantom, about why we can’t automatically believe all women when they cry sexual assault victim. I thought about the parallels I drew between Emmett Till and Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird. Both dead as a result of doing something ordinary, both dead because of the believed white woman’s word.

When I feel more composed I will figure out how to embed the video. I want to have the ability to watch it several times. Emmett Till died as a result of purchasing penny bubble gum. Tom Robinson ended up convicted and dead because he offered kindness to a poor white girl, abused by her father and sneered at by the townies. Philando Castile hurts all the more because he was riding in his girlfriend’s car with a young girl child in the back seat, because he’s dead and mother and daughter are traumatized how many ways ’til Sunday?

Doing mundane things can get you killed in America if you are visibly Black. Sandra Bland is dead because she allegedly didn’t signal a turn.

What the fuck is this?

HOMELESS PEOPLE. IT IS A VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS TO TREAT HOMELESS PEOPLE THE WAYS WE DO. DENIAL OF A PLACE TO RELIEVE ONE’S SELF, DENIAL OF WATER, VIOLATIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS.

Why do we have people living on the streets in large numbers in America and that shit’s okay? We officially have pavement dwellers like those I observed in parts of the Indian subcontinent that were, at the time, suffering large in-migrations of rural people into the cities, looking for work. They lived in the garbage dumps. In America, the area surrounding the homeless is turned into a dump because of lack of access to the basics: a place to cook, a place to squat it out later, a place to lay your head.

Seems so simple, the fix to this. So many rich politicians could afford to house all the homeless people on their many properties. Why do we, the people, allow these conditions affecting people just like you or me, to persist? Are we truly anesthetized? Are we truly that unfeeling? Is there no longer any creature recognition going on?

What the fuck is really going on, people?

In 1955 Money, Mississippi, Black people had a greater chance of being lynched, and of having the lynchers get off because of the low prosecution rates for violent crimes against Blacks, but in support of white female purity and white male superiority. Carolyn Bryant only recently confessed that she lied. Her believed lies got a 14 year old boy tortured, mutilated, slaughtered.

Hikkikomori looking better and better e’er day.

Type, Don’t Write – Take 2

The wind is high. Already, several tree limbs have hit the house. The first one was slender, showed signs of termites, hollow inside, ripe for being blown down.

Anxiety. What good would it do to call the insurance company? The tree should have been removed instead of my home. What good would it do to call the contractor who botched this job royally? I hope he used my claim funds for something worthwhile, like curing HIV/AIDS or the Oval Occupier.

Women are under attack, but they have always been under attack. We are not counted among those created equal. It is no accident that only men are mentioned. Just like it is no accident that God is allegedly a male. That’s sex. I never thought God had a sex. What need of sex has God? When the myth got started that Jesus was God, I lost all interest in Christian religions. I know they’re gonna be struck by something and I don’t want to get smote.

The Old Testament God was angry, jealous, would tear shit up, or inflict horrors on pretty innocent people. At least, I understand this God. He’s petty.

With the New Testament we throw out the petty God and claim Jesus is God and his son. That’s some hellified double relationship. God made a baby who was Himself. A woman was used.

Women constantly get used. I’m ’bout fed up with that. But women find it difficult to stand together. Wasn’t always this way, but it seems to be the case today. Maybe it’s generational. Women were in competition for men, so they were bitchy to one another. Let a woman get a man and she will abandon her women friends in a combination New York/LA minute. Cisness is death to women friendships.

My best friends were always lavender ladies. They know how to party. They know how to be quiet and comfortable together. They know how to be friends. I wish everyone was multisexual, especially the Christians.

Why do Christians have so much interest in other folks’ naughty bits? Why are they always trying to make women have babies they can’t care for? Why don’t they have as much care for the living as they do for the “pre-born”? I’d like to see a 6 week foetus survive on its own, no machines, nada. Just pretend it is born.

What happened to procreation being a job for two? If the women are being penalized for getting pregnant, why aren’t the men who impregnated them getting some sort of punishment? Punitive. That’s what Christians are. They are sadistic and mean.

Of course, there are sadistic and mean people everywhere in America. They exist in every religion, every ethnicity, every age group, every sex. But Christians, maybe evangelical Christians stand out for their love of death. They would rather see you dead than not believe the way they do.

I don’t know about this type, don’t write thing. I get to saying stuff I think but don’t say. I don’t like confrontation. I don’t like hurting other people. However, there is more room out than in. So, there you go.

1955

Emmett Till, murdered in Money, Mississippi, nearly 62 years ago. Here is a horror of American history.

The year before, 1954, saw the Supreme Court declare separate schooling unequal, inferior, but some white folks disagreed. They said Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever in retort to the Court. Blacks had to be kept in their place at the bottom of the racial/social/economic hierarchy that supported white dominance, white superiority, white supremacy as decreed by their white Christian god.

Black people were stolen from their homelands by these Christians to be sold into a most ironic slavery in a land founded by people desiring religious freedom.

Following centuries of enslavement, decades of pseudo-freedom ensnared by vigilante terrorism, Black Codes, Jim Crow segregation, and enduring daily contempt and disrespect, Miss Rosa stayed put because Emmett Till was murdered in Money, Mississippi, 1955.
