Why I Never Supported HRC

She stood by her man after he disrespected her, their daughter, and the nation. She stayed for the power. That she continues to stand by him in the current climate disturbs me.

She labeled a generation of young people predators, superpredators. Most of those young people were Black and Latinx.

She disrespected her husband’s accusers, did not believe them, implied they lied.

She is a lawyer.

She didn’t fight Obama for the nomination, just handed it over.

She didn’t fight Trump over this rigged election, just closed her mouth, wrote a book, and rakes in the cash.

She is an elite corporatist.

Her DNC is corrupt.

My position is not popular, particularly among this wave of feminists who seem to want to be better men. Nevertheless, for the above reasons, and maybe a few more that I have not let surface, I have never been a supporter of HRC. I wish her well, but I got nothing else for her or her rabid supporters.

There Are Not Enough Words

So, let’s get cracking.

I have had a heluva day: computer problems (CRS Admin password hijack), installation of a gas line (gouging), trying to get medical care for my son, renting a car, preparing to move back to my home. Just a lot going on and I am as tired as if I went to a 9-5.

Then, there is all this madness with the government. The treasonous trollops in the White House are driving me mad. That ugly turtle and his thieving wife, stupid Orange Thug and his roguish family, everyone except Barron, for whom I feel very sad. How is it that the entire GOP and DEMs, too, have been allowed to try and burn down our country? I cannot be the only one who knows the country is run by crooks and liars, mostly liars. Sarah Sanders needs boiled.

The chickens coming home to roost for all these groping, raping marauders. I don’t feel sorry for any of them. All these complicit women who said nothing when they knew there was a threat. All the women, and men, who have held memories of sexual abuse for decades; this is a cathartic moment. I really don’t expect to see much come of any of it. Just like all the gun violence. If a school full of dead children doesn’t move people, the complaints of sexual misconduct by a bunch of women will move those in power even less.

And now, I must find another attorney when I have absolutely no faith in them. I have to file a civil suit against my attorney to try and get back the money he stole from me. No trust, no money. Guess I will do it myself. I successfully brought my probate to a close. Time to learn a new legal skill.

Certainly, I must be grateful for what the ancestors place in front of me to learn and do. There must be a reason I am having all of this experience with the law. Would really rather not, but I seem to have no choice. The requirement to defend what is mine is paramount.

The country has gone crazy, right along with orangina. No ethics. No morality. Racism. Classism. Christianist terrorists emboldened and supported by the current administration. The atmosphere in American culture is toxic as hell. I don’t want to live here any more, but where can I go?

Homelessness has plagued me. All around me, even here at the beach, are the homeless. People live in their RVs, cars, vans. Tents appear in the oddest places. People have become very creative with tarps, cinder blocks, and odd wood. They can wrangle this stuff into fairly sturdy habitations. But they are still outside, without facilities, without running water, without refrigeration, without a roof or floor other than the earth. I like sleeping rough when on a camping trip, or just hanging in my back yard. But it is my back yard and I can get up and go in the house whenever I want. Alhamdulillah!

You know, I think of myself as a Jewish Methodist Muslim. Imagine that! Even though I look like your run of the mill Black woman, I actually have Japanese, Chinese, and European running around in my genome. Funny how blood will out. I have always been fascinated with Japan, to the point that I learned to read, write, and speak Nihongo. I feel like I belong there, am connected there. Mayhap I will find my roots there. I want to go and study textile techniques. Sashiko, amigurumi, that lovely delicate knitting. Yes, that is where I could go. Amongst the Euro part of me, I’ve always felt like an Irish woman. Redheaded, flawless porcelain complexion, lilting voice. Yes, I’ve imagined myself in this ancestor from ’round the world.

Now, I’m Jewish because my mother was. Methodist because I chose to study that religion that  Xtian religion that encourages study, and a Muslim because I reverted to Islam in 1997 after surviving a trip to India. I take what I need from all these perspectives and don’t sweat the small stuff. It helps that I don’t participate  in organized religion, but there is nothing like praying with my sisters, lined up together, hearing the prayer in Arabic, the khutba, the conviviality after. Islam is good for those willing to seek knowledge, even to the ends of the earth.

So much swirling. Too much to do. Too much to think about. Didja know I served in the Army? Yeah, I’m a veteran. So many of us are on the streets. So many Americans on the street. This is a worldwide problem. Refugees, migrants, climate-displaced folks. There is too much going on and there are not enough words to tell you of the turmoil that churns within me, especially when I see our so-called president’s face. Him and his whole administration need removed.

Peace, peeps.

When Friendship Turns to Henshit

I was raised to believe in making family, in treating those without family or social support to whatever comfort and accomodation that can be mustered.

I tried to be a friend to an old beau and it backfired. Turns out he was a useless narcissist, concerned most about himself, but in particularly self-destructive ways.

I treated this friend to a room at the beach for over a year, rent-free. He reaped many benefits from having no rent to pay, because rent in this complex is $2370 for a 1 cama, 1 baño, >600 sq feet. He reaped auto insurance discounts. He spent money bingeing on gentrified coffees, avocado toast-type crap, smoked fields of weed, ate tons of processed foods, drank Monsters and off-gassed that funky taurine every night. He spent money like water, ran up credit card debt, lost something every day, and generally created tension and confusion in my home.

He saved no money and burned his bridges here, so now he is outty.

Human beings can oftentimes be most disappointing.

FINANCIAL ELDER ABUSE

Guess what? I have been victimized by my tortfeasor attorney because he allowed my homeowner’s insurance funds to be taken by Beal Bank with his full knowledge and assistance. Wonder if I have to sue him to get my money back as Beal Bank continues to play dummy?

Financial Elder Abuse. Who’d a thunk it?

Hope it is a felony.

Blessing in Disaster (Real/Real)

The winds were high and apparently gentle, but the property-line tree fell on my home. Happy Earth Day! The tree was over 60′ tall by a ways. The utility pole stands that high and the tree towered over that, all five branch trunks growing from the main stem. Hard to believe the tree started from something like a weed, easily yanked out of the earth before it can grow into the heavy colossus guarding the property line.

When the branch cracked away from the central trunk, I was sitting under it in my bedroom. You know that sound you hear in films about the lumbering industry, hacking down the forest, shouting,”Timberrrrrr!” The tree cracks away from the base and the upper branches whoosh earthward through the air. I heard the crack, heard the whoosh, and was out of the room by the thud that signaled the trunk had come to rest on the roof and on the roofs of the next two houses. No damage to any roof but my own. Thank you, Mother Earth.

The ceiling was kept up by things sitting atop the closet. I can see daylight where the wall of the house buckled and burst at the seams from the weight of the limb that laid atop the roof for 3-4 days. The general contractor said the only reason the tree did not come into the room is because it was small. Saved by geometric configuration and physics.

The general contractor also said the house must be razed.

I await the adjuster/appraiser. Long wait in a precarious shelter. I refuse to go into my bedroom. Just moved to the living room, though it is somewhat dicey up here as the neighbor continues to host a colossus, some of its branches overhanging my property….

These Are the Facts (Real/Real)

It took 18 days for my insurance company to respond to my claim. Seems the mortgage company called and changed the pay arrangement I’d made with the insurance company 5 years ago to deduct my insurance payments directly from my bank account. The mortgage company is alleged to have stated they were opening an escrow account and would be paying the insurance from now on. Then, when the bill went unpaid for a couple of months, I received a warning letter that the insurance would cancel shortly. Well, bafflement aside, I paid the insurance in full so that there should be no more problems until time to renew, which is coming soon.

Beal Bank is claiming their interest in the property is not protected by an adequate equity cushion. Wonder what that means as I owe only $44,185.85 as of 7 June 2016 and there is four times that much equity in the property AND the insurance is covering the claim, which will increase the value of the property.

Beal Bank claims they will reach out with possible loan modification options, but we have been over that ground before. Besides, they do not handle home mortgages, according to their Plano TX office and I have already been denied loan modification twice by MGC Mortgage. This backhanded, iffy offer is conditional upon the BK court lifting the stay to foreclose on the property.

Beal Bank will stop at nothing in its attempts to wrest my home from me.

This is what a senior can expect. This is what a veteran can expect. This is what a college graduate can expect. This is what one disabled can expect. This is what the remnants of the middle-class can expect: What you have worked, sweated, struggled, and sacrificed for can be taken away from you, no matter all your playing by the rules, by a corporate entity that can hide behind the law and paperwork. The agencies that are supposed to look out for the consumer are in conflict of interest situations with the oppressors. For example: Beal Bank v FDIC.

There is a 2009 article by Tyler Durdan on the Hypocrisy of the FDIC that I cannot bring up right now, but I will continue to hunt it as Beal Bank is featured in the article.

I have no idea how things are going to turn. After suffering what felt like strange treatment from my insurance company, things have turned there. Seems I had a crooked contractor. His major interest was in money. He was shady from the start, suggesting I move and store my own furniture and pocket the money. Cray-cray. You should have seen my new adjuster swoop in and slay the dragon who lied, came unprepared and incorrect for a woman on her job, a woman of distinctive family heritage, with a good name known for many generations. It was thrilling to watch her work, exposing what I think would have been considered fraud. It is so unfortunate that one cannot conduct business with African-Americans any more. Always come shady lately, if they come at all.

Banksters vs Hamilton: The Latest (Real/Real)

Filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, CA State Department of Business Oversight, and the young Consumer Financial Protection Bureau http://consumerfinance.gov. I also wrote to Senator Elizabeth Warren as I know her to be a consumer advocate and quite involved in the formation and operation of the CFPB.

My representative from Consumer Affairs had to negotiate with MGC Mortgage, and it was not a pretty affair, but he gained my side a month’s reprieve, in which time MGC Mortgage is supposed to review the loss mitigation documents I submitted. I expect for them to come back with a denial and some excuse that would prevent me from qualifying for loss mitigation, and I’ll be told to do something else. They denied a loss mit app in November 2014 and told me I was not eligible for a loan assumption, though the word lately has been loan assumption whenever I’ve been able to speak to an MGC representative.

Now, thanks to the helpful input of friends and several agencies, I’m on a mission to find the $42,000 owed these people on a $25,500 loan taken out in 1997! Go figure. Maybe I’ll put my GoFundMe page back up…

Simplest way to amend the Probate Code to avoid any more of this type of backdoor theft of real property from consumers by banksters would be to require ALL creditors to make a claim against the Estate of a deceased mortgageholder, thus also requiring all creditors to inform the consumers who notified them of the mortgageholder’s death of their possible need to file probate. Both secured and unsecured creditors should be held to the same standards when a deceased mortgageholder is involved.

MGC MORTGAGE, INC. cont’d (REAL/REAL)

Have filed a fraud claim with Consumer Affairs, complaint with California State Department of Business Oversight.

Will likely have to file for Injunctive Relief as MGC Mortgage, Inc. and the Law Offices Of Les Zieve represented by Ms Karen Talafus are incommunicado, closed to observe the holiday.

I am right indignant at being left uninformed about what to do when dealing with the real property of a deceased parent and a conniving mortgage company/bankster. There really oughta be a manual.

Everyone I have spoken to seems unfamiliar with what is plainly written in Probate Code about rules and regs, conditions and responsibilities of parties involved in probate proceedings. Everyone assumes the mortgage company must be paid. Well, they should get what is rightfully owed to them, and the rules of probate detail how that is supposed to work. Paralegals, look under Creditor Claims, Mortgages, Deceased mortgage loan holder. A creditor has a year from the date of death of the decedent to make a claim against the Estate. Dead people are not supposed to continue to rack up bills. A creditor has to be notified about the probate proceedings in a timely fashion so that they can make a claim against the Estate of the decedent. They have, if I have interpreted and remember correctly, about four months after being notified to file their claim with either or both the Court and the Estate Administrator. MGC Mortgage, Inc. was notified of my mother’s death in 2005, but failed to notify me to file probate. In fact, the first time I heard someone mention the word probate was last Friday when, after 48 minutes of transfers and holds, I contacted Ryan in the Foreclosure department of MGC Mortgage. He informed me that the property had to go through probate and seemed right stupefied when I told him probate had already closed. He asked me to fax him corroborating docs, which I did. I also mailed a hard copy.

I was told by Karen Talafus that my faxed copies were illegible, could I send the copies to her. She works for the law firm of Les Zieve acting as Trustee in the auction. I emailed her the copies. That was Wednesday morning. Still no word from either bankster about this matter. They are stalling, but they will be stopped.

Legally, MGC Mortgage, Inc. could not file a claim against the Estate because they are long past the year limit, nine years past the limit. That needs explaining. My name is not on her loan documents, but I was led to believe I had to continue paying the loan, all these years getting no credit for doing so. That needs explaining. Presently, it is my mother’s credit that is being wrecked on paper. Why, nearly a decade after her death?

Probate was open for three years. MGC Mortgage, attempting to squeeze every dime from me, finally started foreclosure against my mother, ten years dead, and is planning to sell the property at auction, no matter what the Probate Court found, on 15 July 2015. This is the reason to file for Injunctive Relief, as the property title was transferred to me by the Court after no claims against the Estate were received.

Such arrogance and gall. And they continue in their extortionist behavior without stop. I wonder how many people they have rooked out of their property?
